Class Description:

Punch needle, a similar craft to rug hooking, results in beautifully textured finished pieces that can be turned into wall hangings, rugs, pillows, bags, and more. This is a super satisfying fiber art that is fairly quick and easy, so it's great for beginners!

In this class you'll practice the punching technique while you work on a beautiful abstract design. The kit comes with an 8" bamboo hoop frame to mount and hang your work when finished. 

During class we'll also discuss different types of punch tools, fabrics, and fibers that can be used in the future and troubleshoot common issues. While you won't fully finish the project during the class, you'll get a great start on it and all the skills and motivation needed to finish it up on your own.

Supply Kit:

The kit includes everything you need except for a pair of scissors:

• monks cloth fabric
• 8" super grip hoop
• 8" wood hoop for later framing and hanging
  
• set of yarn in the appropriate colors and lengths
• punch needle tool threader
